United Way Centraide Canada Public Policy Priorities

In 2022 and 2023, Medow Consulting supported United Way Centraide Canada (UWCC) to refresh the organization’s public policy priorities to guide government relations over the next three to five years. Medow Consulting worked with UWCC to develop a renewed list of public policy priorities and a clear picture of where UWCC can add value to the charitable and nonprofit sectors and local communities overall. This project also included:

  • Assessing opportunities to advance UWCC priorities in the current political landscape.

  • Working to gain clarity on the priorities that UWCC’s network has engaged in and on which priorities key partners are aligned.

  • Advancing a more fulsome understanding of UWCC’s role as an ally to First Nations, Inuit and Métis and equity-deserving communities in the context of public policy leadership and engagement.
