Report on the Indigenous Employment and Training Landscape in Ontario

In 2020, Medow Consulting was commissioned by the Indigenous Advanced Education & Skills Council to produce an environmental scan on the employment and training landscape for Indigenous Peoples in Ontario. This report presents key outcomes of the environmental scan, focusing on demographic and educational attainment data, labour market information, and provincial and federal employment and training programs and policy. A key contribution of this report is the cataloging of Indigenous employment and training service providers funded under major programs by both the federal and provincial governments. This information was previously only available through multiple government information sources.
